Basic Fitness Equipment |

It is not too late to get in shape for the summer. I think the first step is deciding to work out every day for at least 30 minutes. I work out at least that amount of time every weekday and then some. I don't have expensive fitness equipment. I just started by moving. I make my work out fun by doing an activity that I particularly enjoy. For example walking, bike riding or playing basketball. I also change it up every day to keep myself interested in the activity. I feel there is some basic and inexpensive fitness equipment needed to get started and to stay on the right track. I like a small ball, a large exercise ball, light weights (I have even used soup cans to start out with and get heavier weights later), an exercise mat and an exercise band.
I use my fitness equipment at home. I work out along with a televised program. I think videos can be fun as well. I often find it more motivational to join a group fitness class at my local gym. In addition. I can make the walk to the gym part of my workout. There are many answers to the how, when and where of the working out question.
The key to making my summer transition successful is to use my fitness equipment faithfully. Celebrate the small wins and stick to it. I will be strutting my stuff in a bikini before I know it! |
