Fitness Equipment Doesn't Have to Be Expensive |

People might not realize this, but you don't have to pay a lot of money for fitness equipment. Working out can be done with nothing more than a good exercise video, and no special fitness equipment, or something as simple as buying ankle and wrist weights and wearing them as you walk the dog. The key to exercise isn't how much you spend on fitness equipment, but how you use it. Working out is the best way to lose weight, it's hard to start but once you get into a rhythm, it's easier to keep it up. Some people find working out to be easier during summer, where they can ride their bike, roller blade, walk, and run, whatever the case might be. But then when it gets cold out and the snow starts, they retreat to the house and paused their workout routine.
You can still workout year round, you'll just need to invest in some fitness equipment. My favorite piece of fitness equipment was the Precor machine. This is a fun, elliptical trainer that is easy on your knees and low impact. The key is finding the time to workout. When I worked out regularly, I found that the best time for me to workout was when I came home from work. Since I was changing out of work clothes anyway, I just played my belly dance workout video and got in a quick 15 minute workout before going down stairs for dinner. This worked well for me because I didn't need any specialized fitness equipment, just a video and enough space to move around.
