outdoors sports
Our entire family loves spending time together, especially if outdoors sports are involved. Just the other day, my son was begging me to take him to the park so that we could play outdoors sports together, like baseball. We had attended a local minor league game in the last month, and he wanted to hit some baseballs and run some bases. Since there is certainly not much harm involved in outdoors sports like baseball, I agreed to take him. We had a blast trying to hit the baseball with the mini bat the kids had gotten from the ball game as a souvenir. The ball would only go four feet, at most. Of course I had to surprise them with a bunt and make them run a little.

Another of the outdoors sports that we love to do together (and that's new to half of my kids this year) is bike riding. When we received our tax return money, one of the things that my husband and I did was purchase bikes for all of the kids and me. (My husband opted for a new fishing rod, instead of a bike.) We have thoroughly enjoyed riding around the neighborhood in the cooler southern evenings. Two of them have even learned to ride training wheel free since only a few months ago.
